The annual club outing took place last weekend. This years outing was to Clonakilty in West Cork.
The group set out on Friday and returned home on Sunday.
We stayed at the Quality Resort Hotel in Conakilty and I must say we were well looked after with plenty of food and the odd beverage.
On Friday night we explored the Galley Head light house.
Saturday morning we arose at 5am and went back to the lighhouse but alas the weather was unkind and we missed the eagerly awaited sunrise.
However not deterred we went back and had a little rest and breakfast and then set out for Skibereen and Baltimore.
Some great shots were taken in Baltimore before heading back to Clonakilty for some pre dinner drinks.
A fine meal was enjoyed by all followed by a brief talk and review of the days work. Tiredness set in and talks of another early rising was soon dismissed.
All rose at around 8.30 on Sunday morning and another fine breakfast was devoured. We said our goodbyes and headed for home taking in visits to Coutmacsherry, Timoleague and Kinsale en route.
All in all a great weekend with a special thanks to Angela for her organisational skills.
